For New Years Day dinner, JodiesDaddy and I decided to go Japanese.
We opted to try a restaurant I have not been to, Seryna in Little Tokyo. Although I knew what I wanted to eat right away (the spicy tuna sushi and the tempura), JodiesDaddy could not decide! When he first went there he was all raves about a bento box that they had… but they served it only for lunch! He had to make do with the ala carte menu.
JodiesDaddy finally had the uni sushi, 3 kinds sashimi (salmon, tuna and octopus) and yaki soba (I was surprised with the yaki soba… really good and actually tasted Japanese and not just like any other pancit canton! haha)
We will be going back there for lunch again to try the bento… If only I can get through their phone lines to make reservations…grrrrr
